Mexico has proposed legislation based on levels of risk. High Risks Systems include AI that automates decisions within employment. Developers and deployers of high-risk AI systems will need to meet certain requirements such as 1) developers disseminating the technical documentation of their systems and 2) deployers retain the log files that systems automatically generate.

It is an early draft but could move Mexico into a similar position as the EU with its AI Act.
